ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
- Purpose and scope: The policy applies to Isavia’s entire operations. Our staff and Board of Directors must comply with the policy in carrying out any duties for the company.
- Policy: Isavia will continually seek to minimise negative environmental impacts from its activities and consider stewardship of the environment in all its decision-making.
- Objectives: Isavia works proactively and systematically towards the following aims:
- To manage our activities so as to minimise negative environmental impacts and ensure that we comply with the international standard ISO 14001, in addition to seeking Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA).
- To meet the requirements of laws and regulations regarding the environmental aspects of our activities, and exceed those requirements when possible.
- To place particular focus on the efficient use of resources, waste minimisation and increased recycling, ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and practising green procurement.
- To improve our environmental performance through continuous monitoring and control of environmental risks.
- To promote environmental awareness among staff and encourage progressive and eco-friendly solutions.
- To publish information on our environmental performance and encourage consultation with employees, operators, neighbours and other stakeholders on environmental issues.
- Other: The policy shall be presented to employees and made accessible on the company’s intranet and website. The policy has entered into force and the division heads are responsible for ensuring compliance with it.
