Keflavik International Airport is the primary gateway to Iceland and has numerous times been awarded for service excellence. The airport was chosen the best airport in Europe in 2010 and 2014 and furthermore inducted in to the ACI Directors roll of excellence in 2014 for service quality. In 2016 the airport was awarded as the best airport in Europe in terms of operational efficiency.
The airport features comfortable and modern passenger and commercial facilities with extensive capacity on the North Atlantic and polar routes linking Europe and Asia with North America. In 2017 we gave a warm welcome to 8,7 million passengers. Our passenger forecasts for 2018-2030 indicate an exstensive growth and we plan to expand the airport in line with our masterplan, to ensure the service quality to our passengers in the coming years.
