- At the airport, all items lost at the airport are handled by Securitas on behalf of Isavia, the operator of Keflavik Airport.
- Onboard the aircraft, all items lost onboard the aircraft are handled by the airline’s handling company.
ITEMS LOST AT KEFLAVIK AIRPORT
All items that are lost at the airport and found by our staff are stored by Securitas where they are registered into lost and found database. Please claim lost property by visiting www.missingx.com. There you can see if your item was found at the airport. Securitas needs to verify the owner of the item and will deliver it to the rightful owner.
It may take 24-48 hours to register a lost item, but we keep all unclaimed items for up to 2 months. Our Lost & Found service is open from 08:00 to 17:00 every day.
ITEMS LOST ONBOARD AIRCRAFT
If you have lost an item onboard a WOW air or Icelandair aircraft, please contact their respective handling companies at Keflavik Airport.

These companies’ service desks are in the arrival hall (at gates 10-11).
If you have lost an item onboard an aircraft of any other airline than Icelandair or Wow air, please contact the airline or their handling company at the airport. Please note that such items will not be left in Iceland.
