Extended drone ban above 60 meters above ground - valid till midnight April 30th

Due to a volcanic eruption and necessary emergency and investigative flights, the Icelandic Transport Authority has, at the request of the Civil Protection Coordination Centre, prohibited drone flights above 60 meters above ground. The area is 2 nautical miles in radius, previously it was 2 kilometers in radius.

Isavia´s Annual Financial Statement for 2023

Isavia Group’s operating result before depreciation, capital items, and taxes (EBITDA) for 2023 was a positive figure of ISK 8.1 billion. This compares to a positive operating result of ISK 5.2 billion for 2022. Revenue rose by some 23% or ISK 8.6 billion, reaching ISK 45.1 billion. Over 7.8 million passengers used Keflavík International Airport last year. This compares to 6.1 million in 2022.
