Measures related to the coronavirus (COVID-19)

Domestic Airports operated by Isavia cooperate with the Chief Epidemiologist, the Directorate of Health and the Civil Protection Department to coordinate response to the increased spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

From April 1st 2021 stricter government border measures due to Covid-19 will take effect. Passengers coming to Iceland where a 14 day Covid-19 case notification rate exceeds 500 per 100.000 population (dark red countries) are required to stay in government quarantine facilities during quarantine or if they must undergo isolation due to infection. More information at Covid.is.

An FAQ on the measures can be found on the Government of Iceland website.
