Isavia’s Managing Director is Björn Óli Hauksson, industrial and management engineer. He joined the company on 1 May 2010, having served as Managing Director of Keflavik International Airport from 2008.

Ingimundur Sigurpálsson, born 1951, Chairman of the Board from 2014, degree in Business Administration from the University of Iceland. He undertook graduate studies in Planning and Developmental Economics at George Washington University in Washington D.C. and has a DBE from Columbia Business School, New York, USA.
Ingimundur has been the CEO of Íslandspóstur since 2004. He has decades of excecutive experience in both the public and private sectors. Ingimundur has held, and continues to hold, numerous public, representative and managerial positions.
Ingimundur is on the boards of ISNIC hf. as Chairman, is the Chairman of the Board of Samskipti ehf. and is a member of the Board of Arnarnesvogur ehf. He is a shareholder in the investment company Molinn ehf., which is a shareholder in ISNIC and is a shareholder in Borgun hf.
He was elected to Isavia’s Board at the 2014 Annual General Meeting.
MATTHÍAS PÁLL IMSLAND
Matthías Imsland, born in 1974, Vice-chairman from 2018, political scientist with an MS degree from Lund University, Sweden. He has also studied Business Administration at the University of Iceland and managerial studies at North Park University, Chicago, USA.
As of 2017, Matthías has been the Managing Director of various investment companies. Matthías was political advisor to Minister of Social Affairs and Housing from 2013–15, political advisor to the Prime Minister from January to April 2016 and again political advisor to the Minister of Social Affairs and Housing from April 2016 to January 2017. He was previously employed as a consultant for South American and Scandinavian companies. He was Director of Operations for WOW air and before the founding of that company, Managing Director of Iceland Express.
Matthías is a member of the Board of Directors of Fríhöfnin ehf. (Duty Free Store ehf.).
Matthías was elected to Isavia’s Board at the 2014 Annual General Meeting. Vice-chairman 2014–17.
EVA PANDORA BALDURSDOTTIR
Eva Pandora Baldursdóttir, born 1990, member of the Board as of 2018, has a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from the University of Iceland and graduate studies in Cultural Management from Bifröst University. She is currently undertaking graduate studies in Public Administration at the University of Iceland.
Eva has been employed as an expert in the Development Department of the Icelandic regional Development Institute in Sauðárkrókur since 2017. She was a member of parliament for the North-west region in 2016–17, business administrator with KPMG in 2016, organiser of tours at Iceland Travel in 2015–2016 and business administrator at Fjárvakur in 2012–2015.
Theodóra was elected to Isavia’s Board at the 2018 Annual General Meeting.
NANNA MARGRÉT GUNNLAUGSDÓTTIR
Nanna Margrét Gunnlaugsdóttir, born 1978, is a Member of the Board of Directors as of 2018. She studied Business Administration at the University of Iceland and has an MBA degree from the Reykjavík University.
As of 2015, Nanna has been the Director of Investments at Hafblik Investments.
She provided consultancy services to foreign retail chains from 2013–2014 as regards to operations in Iceland, was the owner of Náttúrulækningabúðin and related retail and wholesale companies from 2008–2013 and was employed by Eimskip from 1998–2008 in positions within the Financial Management Department and as Sales Manager in the Sea and Air Freight Department.
Nanna is a member of the Board of Ilta Investments, Ilta PE and Náttúrulækningabúðin.

Valdimar Halldórsson, born 1973. Member of the Board of Directors from 2018. He holds a degree in Economics and an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Iceland.
As of 2016, Valdimar has been the Managing Director of the Húsavík Whale Museum. He was a consultant for H.F. Verðbréf in 2013–2016, political advisor to the Minister for Industry and Trade in 2012–2013, expert at Marko Partners in 2011–2012, expert at IFS Greining in 2008–2011, expert in the Íslandsbanki fisheries industry team from 2004–2008, was with National Economic Institute / Statistics Iceland, national accounts 2000–2004 and in Íslandsbanki Financial Management in 2000.
