Blue Lagoon and Hjá Höllu Receive the Keflavik Airport Service Award

The Keflavík Airport Service Awards for 2019 were recently issued. This time it was the Blue Lagoon that received the service award for retail and Hjá Höllu received the service award for restaurants. The present results, as always, are based on market research and surveys carried out at Keflavík Airport.

In recent years, Keflavik Airport has awarded operators at prizes for the exceptional services that they provide. Restaurants and shops receive awards for excelling in providing services to passengers who pass through the Airport.

Account is taken of whether goods and information on prices are properly displayed as well as the manner in which staff approach customers.

Keflavik Airport places great importance on providing excellent services to travellers. Operators, who are in direct contact with passengers using the Airport, are encouraged to ensure they provide the best services possible. We do so by holding special service training courses and awarding prizes for a job well done.
