Limited opening hours for shops and restaurants

The opening hours of restaurants and shops have been limited due to the reduction in the number of flights. In the main shopping area, the DutyFree Store and Mathús (House of Food, self-service restaurant) are always open when flights are on schedule. Passengers can therefor be sure to always have access to some foodservice to either dine in take away. Other restaurants at the airport have closed. Blue lagoon store, Optical Studio and Pure food delicatessen have closed until mid April. Other speciality shops are open in the mornings and in the afternoon depending on flight schedules. Opening hours in other service areas has also been reduced although every effort is made to maintain a minimum level of service.
