This year Isavia will publish the company's annual report for the eighth time in accordance with the criteria and standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Here we explain the challenges and opportunities the company faces when it comes to sustainability and the impact of the company's operations on the economy, environment and society.

Isavia is a service company that plays an important role in managing the operation, maintenance and development of infrastructure that forms the basis for Iceland's aviation, connections to the outside world and flights between continents. Our activities are therefore important for the national economy and we strive to conduct our work safely and efficiently in harmony with the environment and society.

Sustainability is a guiding principle in everything the company does and we show initiative and work systematically to set a good example in this field in Iceland. We continuously work to increase sustainability throughout the airport community, share knowledge and experiences and cooperate well with the local community. This is how we build long-term added value for the economy as a whole.
