More options for travelers this fall

This fall will be eventful and fun at Keflavík Airport. A wide selection of restaurants and shops are available at the airport to accommodate our guests and their diverse needs. New restaurants and shops recently opened at the airport to further enhance the experience of our guests and offer more options for them.

Diverse options for our guests

Diversity and joy will be at the forefront at Keflavík Airport this fall, but recently a total of nine restaurants and shops opened to the delight of travelers.

Elda restaurant opened in the shopping and restaurants area of the airport in May. At Elda, the emphasis is on quality and the best ingredients, selection of classic dishes with Icelandic ingredients, great vegetarian and vegan dishes, and an ambitious children's menu. Ísey sky bar is located inside the restaurant where they offer fresh bowls.

Eyesland is a new and elegant eyewear which also opened at the airport in May. The store sells many of the most desirable brands of glasses and sunglasses available today, and focuses on excellent service for guests.

Sbarro opened on the first floor of the airport‘s south building in May, to serve passengers traveling to countries outside the Schengen area. Sbarro offers a selection of freshly baked pizza sand past dishes, as well as special breakfast dishes.

The one and only Jómfrúin restaurant opened in June. Jómfrúin, a well-known restaurant to many nationals, offers Danish spreads but also classic warm dishes, a selection of cakes and tarts and, of course, all kinds of drinks.

The men's clothing store Kormákur & Skjöldur and Epal design store opened in June. They offer a selection of world-renowned brands, clothing suitable for all weather conditions, elegant gifts, and design products at fair prices.

Bæjarins Beztu hot dogs opened their second location at Keflavik Airport in July – and this time in a real hot dog stand. The hot dog stand is in the south building of the airport for passengers on their way to the UK, USA, and other countries outside the Schengen area.

A new café called Bakað opened in July at the airport arrival and departure hall on the first floor, and is accessible to all passengers traveling through the airport. The new café offers a selection of delicious pastries, freshly baked bread and pizzas, healthy fresh juices, salads and steaming hot quality coffee from Te & Kaffi. The second Bakað café opens later this year on the second floor in the terminal‘s main building.

Icemart, a souvenir store, opened in July in the south building (second floor) of the airport near C gates. Icemart offers a wide selection of popular souvenirs, gift items, travel-related products, and snacks for the flight.

Even more options at the airport?

In addition to all these new places, there are numerous other exciting and good restaurants in the terminal‘s main building such as Mathús, Nord, Segafredo, Maikai, and Loksins Bar. On the second floor of the south building near gates C, there are Hjá Höllu and Kvikk Café. In the arrivals and departure hall the 10-11 convenience store is open 24/7 with a broad selection of essentials for people on the go.

At the airport, there are a number of shops with Icelandic and international products, and a wide selection of well-known brands. These stores include 66°North, Duty Free Iceland, Blue Lagoon, Elko, Rammagerdin – Iceland gift store, and Penninn Eymundsson.
